We at AVAST Marine Works are not your typical aquarium equipment manufacturer. Yes, like many other manufacturers out there in the marine aquarium industry, we are passionate aquarists with a knack for building and selling high quality, precision-made products.

Where we differ is in our ability to create innovative and useful devices, and rapidly deliver incremental improvements to existing good ideas. This often means figuring out ways to lower production costs, increase robustness and reliability, or make simple efficiency tweaks, all in order to do more with less.

We also believe that the online marine hobbyist scene is a powerful force of innovation in the aquarium industry. To that end, we want to enable hobbyists to tinker, tweak, and experiment with new ideas in as cost-effective a manner as possible. Our do-it-yourself kits are designed to develop the beginning hobbyist's tinkering skills, while saving money on otherwise expensive equipment. Our precision-cut components and hard-to-find part inventory allow advanced hobbyists to build new devices with the hope that they will share their creations with the rest of us, here on our discussion site and elsewhere.
