Reef Choice is an economical yet high quality line of products from Filter Fine Aquatics. We here at Avast Marine use the Reef Choice line of products in our own personal reef aquariums. This lignite based activated carbon is premium grade, acid washed, and produced by steam activation of lignite coal. Its size and porosity make it a perfect match for keeping aquarium water crystal clear and is meant for use in our MR-5 Media Reactor. This carbon also works very well for ozone reactor postfiltering to remove residual ozone and associated oxidation byproducts.
