Fluidized Media Reactor
28 reviewsFor Biopellet use, we recommend our optional Biopellet Nozzle which provides excellent pellet movement and no clogging. This nozzle replaces the bottom media plate and mesh disk. We recommend keeping the top screen in place to prevent floating pellets from escaping.

I bought the mr10 and mr16 reactors and I was not satisfied with them. Both items has unsmooth top cover and base and others. Sure, these would not affect the item’s performance. But given the fact that I bought them brandnew, I was not expecting these spots of bother. Just my two cents.
Very well built. Coming from a tlf phosban reactor there is no comparison. Avast marine hands down is the superior product. Very water tight and the additional screens for different media is an added bonus!!
Was looking for a new reactor and saw that Avast was well regarded and prices were very competitive.. So ordered one which arrived in a couple of days. Was simple to set up and has worked great ever since. Would definitely recommend their products.
